Policy leader with extensive experience in AI governance and public innovation. I have advised multiple governments and international organisations on how to govern AI and leverage emerging technologies to improve public service delivery. Since 2021, I have directed the Government AI Readiness Index, a global benchmarking tool that assesses 190 governments by how prepared they are to adopt AI. Additionally, I have led initiatives to advance public-purpose innovation and capacity building in Latin America, Africa and Europe. This builds on earlier experience working inside government, where I advised the President of Mexico and a Member of Congress.
