🌍 Startup Genome and Uzbekistan Discussed the Global Development of the Country’s Startup Ecosystem

As part of ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026, a meeting was held between Ayubkhon Sultonov, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and JF Gotiye, Founder of Startup Genome.

🧠 During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to strengthen Uzbekistan’s position in the Global Startup Ecosystem Report and other international startup rankings, increase the transparency and accessibility of ecosystem data for foreign investors, and expand the country’s recognition on the global startup stage.

📊 Startup Genome is a San Francisco-based international organization specializing in the research and development of startup ecosystems. The organization analyzes data from more than 350 ecosystems and over 5.5 million startups, and provides strategic advisory services to government agencies and innovation institutions in more than 65 countries. One of its key research initiatives is the annual Global Startup Ecosystem Report (GSER).

🤝 Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue joint efforts to conduct a comprehensive analysis of Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem, improve development indicators based on international benchmarking, and strengthen Uzbekistan’s position across Startup Genome’s global research and ranking platforms.
